Falcons in the park. The So Cal Falcons put on their first classic car show October 6, 2018. Putting in all the work is not an easy task so it was great to see the Falcons and Ranchero showing some style. A big shout out to the So Cal Falcon Club for all the work it takes to put on a car show. Looking forward to next year. One thing about car shows are the happy faces checking out the rides. Look for photos of the show this week.
Car shows have a lot of different venues. There’s the classic community street venue, the in the park on the lawn car show, the big name car shows and then there are the swap meet car shows. Car shows can be exclusive from models to year dates but the one thing most car shows have in common are the classics themselves. Some are pure perfection some are daily drivers but most of them align to the theme of what the car show is all about. Swap meet cars shows have a different theme altogether, some are exclusive to year dates but most have a different take on what shows up and this is why we love The Pomona Swap Meet. Take the Ranchero and the Falcon; on any given Sunday when they run the show, we may come across a few Rancheros or Falcons in all states of perfection, waiting for a new home by car or by parts. The Pomona Swap Meet allows for the opportunity to see the life of a car from the good the bad and the trailered. So get out on a Sunday morning and catch a car show, the enjoyment is in the ride.

Did a quick drive-by to check out the Mustangs at Warner Center on our way over to the Ranchero San Antonio Car Show. Perfect early morning. Cars were just lining up when we got there, so not much to say about the show. They had a serious collection of trophies, our pick for best ride.

What a perfect day for a car show. It has been a long time since we have gone to this show. Arrived at a perfect time, the crowd was just starting to get in the way of the photos. Caught this Falcon on the way out. Look for photos of the Rancho San Antonio Car Show this week.

Car Show Notes is a new way to connect to the site. Life is busy, every now and then you just want to take a break and look at some really great rides. This site is all about our local California car show scenery. Southern California has some great classics, but car enthusiast all over the states will drive miles to attend a show, so in a way this is a global thing. From Falcons to Cadillac’s the car show circuit is a fun experience. Take a look at the perfect Falcon and the daily drivers attending last weeks Cruisin' for a Cure, there is so much about the ride from the paint to the rust giving each car no matter the make or model its very own identity. Here at The Ranchero & the Blue Q, we try to showcase the classic car show with the best photography a car show can allow. Our main focus of course is the love of a great Ranchero or Falcon or Buick or a rusty pile of parts found at the Pomona Swap Meet. focus on the Falcon/Ranchero storyline. This site is still the driving force
for all things Falcon. CARSHOW PICS has been replaced with CarShow Gallery-breaking down the car show in a more creative page format. We have taken the the
Ranchero and Falcon line-up into a new theater. Now you can take
a look at all the photos of Rancheros and Falcons broken down by cars, emblems
and signatures. We are giving notice to The Artist that enhance the car show circuit
and showcasing contributors to the ’65 and the Blue Q. Still the same, are the list of car shows we love in the contributors section. First feature car show is The Road Kings June 9th Show. We are slowing going to update past car show into the site-so look to CarShow News for those updates.

65bbq now has a trailer site. car-tografi a photographic journal of a carshow. This site is going to give a new venue for all the collected photos generated from the bbq site. Though this site we are going to produce a series of books and e books that showcase the ride from a collection point of view. Check out the new site at www.cartografi.com
