You know the scene, driving down the road on a trip to somewhere and there it is, the vintage classic, showing off some history. This classic sits in front of the Railroad Museum in Bishop, the classic and the vintage gas pump showcasing a pause in time. The museum was worth the stop on the way to somewhere.
You never know what you may find at a car show. Getting to a show early has advantages, and this shot proves it. An hour later getting any kind of photograph of this Italian exotic would have been impossible with all the car enthusiast surrounding it.

The Ford Pinto is showcasing some bling at the Classic Auto Show. This show has a different vibe from the last two shows at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It was almost like the beginning of a new show, starting with the line to get into the venue. Classics showcased outside on the lawn and parking lot with selected classics housed inside the buildings on the fairgrounds. Photos from the show will be up this week. Hoping they figured out the entrance lines, so today is a better experience. Catch last year’s show and enjoy the rides.
This ‘32 joined the Falcons and Ranchero on the grass at the Classics in the Park, perfection!
This classic Ford Ranchero was at the Classics in the Park car show October 6, 2018. Customized to meet the skeleton standards this ride was a standout. Every detail from the dashboard to the tail lights was perfection. Check out the other great automotive finds from the So Cal Falcons first car show and enjoy the ride.

Falcons in the park. The So Cal Falcons put on their first classic car show October 6, 2018. Putting in all the work is not an easy task so it was great to see the Falcons and Ranchero showing some style. A big shout out to the So Cal Falcon Club for all the work it takes to put on a car show. Looking forward to next year. One thing about car shows are the happy faces checking out the rides. Last year at the Roadster Show we came across The Love Machine, Steve Kimmel's restored Impala from Cheech and Chong, "Up in Smoke". It was a happy surprise when Mr. Kimmel contacted us to see if we could do a photo shoot with his awesome ride for a write up on the classic 1964 Impala. Meeting up at an abandon gas station gave a great opportunity to check out his classic without the noise from the car show experience. Fun time shooting the ride. Thanks Steve. The perfect ride is all in the family. Restorations stories are the best part of meeting car show participants. The family classic stored in garages everywhere creates the perfect opportunity to pass down history from father to son. This fabulous Ford Ranchero showcases the pride and hard work it takes to bring a classic back to its envisioned glory.
